That’s a wrap on the Class of 2024. It’s no small feat to make it through this process. I’m in awe of the ten actors that I had the honor of working with on college auditions. So many ups, downs, lefts, rights, wrongs. But you know what? It all turned out ok - it always does 😊

It truly does take a village for each actor to have the successes that they do.

Thank you to all of the actor’s parents for their support, trust and commitment to the process. You all *went through it*.

Thank you to my dad, for free studio space in VA, teaching advice and for sharing in my joy and excitement for each actor when I watch prescreens back and am like, “Omg look at this kid! They’re soooo goooood!!!!!!!! Omg so present, that was beautiful, wasn’t it?! AHHHH!!!”

Thank you to each actor’s drama teacher, drama department, voice teacher and choral director for giving them all a solid foundation, having them work on pieces in class, giving them roles that challenge them and guiding them throughout their years with you.

Thank you to @gillianabbott for being available to kill it with choreography for a couple of dance prescreens!

Thank you to my darling husband @chypto329 for your patience, love and reminders to keep my acting career and self-care a priority, especially when I get obsessed with these young actors.

Thank you to @kvaish and @sabyanamaria for offering up your beautiful work and time for a mock audition.

And of course, thank you to the actors for a thrilling season. You gained grit and resilience. You stood up for yourselves and your art. You all inspire me and because of you I have become a better actor and teacher/coach.

Think of where you were last fall. You made it!!! And with multiple school choices!!! Dreams do, in fact, come true.

unbelievably proud of all of the actors I’ve had the absolute and complete pleasure of supporting, holding space for, celebrating, pushing

of you bouncing back up from the downs
of you rerouting courses
of you fighting for what you love

it’s almost spring.
